Youtube takes plenty of cues from Metro

Thought this was worth discussing, did anybody else notice the new youtube has been styled after metro?

For example, take the player:

Mumf_medium

The icons have been restyled to be flat, the background is just black now, without the gradient, and the red bar and selector are also flat and without the gradient.

Thought it was interesting and worth discussing.
