Sony may have announced new Google TV products at CES, but it isn't totally leaving owners of existing devices behind. Google let the world know via Twitter that Sony will be rolling out Update 3.2_2012012601 this week, adding 3D Blu-ray playback and giving Chrome some performance improvements that might bring the experience closer to what we saw at CES. With Logitech's withdrawal leaving Sony as the only manufacturer currently selling Google TV devices, it'll likely be wanting to give its lineup a boost before the onslaught of competing products from the likes of LG and Vizio.
