The day's finally here. Following its announcement last month, and our first glimpse of it at CES, the Droid 4 is now available on Verizon. In case you haven't been following, the handset combines the sliding keyboard that made its predecessors so popular with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, LTE, and a slightly larger 1785mAh battery. The styling's slightly updated too, sharing the chopped corners of the Droid RAZR.
We're already seeing a number of discounts on the handset — while you'll pay $199.99 direct from Verizon on a two-year contract, Wirefly will charge you $149.99 and Amazon Wireless is offering it for $99.99. That's a steep discount for an LTE Droid on release day.
