Josh Topolsky you need to read this

Josh...I like you a lot. You have helped create an amazing site, and you are a very smart dude...BUT, you are upsetting many many Microsoft fans for your lack of...understanding of Microsoft and its upcoming release of Windows 8. After watching this weeks Vergecast (which I love and watch every week) you seriously don't understand what Microsoft is trying to do. In my opinion, they are giving users the kind of tablets you have come to expect from Android and iOS, which are media consumption devices. iOS and Android tablets are really nothing more than that. BUT, what they are also giving you (much more with x86 versions) is the full power of a windows laptop. I think that Windows is trying to reach every corner of the market. Media consumption, power user, and the in between. I don't see what you don't like about this idea, or why you think it is so bad. I would love for fellow Microsoft fans to chime in with what they think Microsoft is trying to do, and why they think it is good/bad. It would also be great if you Josh, would please explain to us what it is you want Microsoft to do, and why you do not get or like what they are doing. Thank you.
