At risk of playing "spot the influence": THX-1138, 2001, Clockwork Orange, Alphaville... the list goes on. We don't know if Beyond The Black Rainbow is anything more than its beautiful visuals, but we're willing to find out — whoever was picking influences picked right. The Canadian sci-fi thriller premiered at festivals back in 2010, but has yet to be publicly released, so hopefully this new iTunes trailer is a sign of an imminent theater debut. We'll be there, in our best suede suit.
