LG Optimus 3D Cube announced with 3D video editing, available this March in Korea
LG has announced yet another phone in the run up to MWC, this time the Optimus 3D Cube. It mostly hews to the specs we previously saw for the Optimus 3D successor: 4.3-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage, and a 1520mAh battery to power it all. The device is indeed as thin as we'd expected, measuring 126.8 x 67.4 x 9.6 mm, and within that frame LG has also included an NFC chip and made the Android 2.3 software compatible with its "LG Tag" system for automatically changing settings based on your own NFC stickers.
Of course, the headline feature is the 3D camera and the glasses-free 3D screen, and LG claims that it is going to add in full 3D video editing software as well as a a 3D mapping application. It's coming to SK Telecom in Korea in March, but you can bet we'll give it a once-over at MWC next week.
