Exciting Times
I guess it's safe to say that for the past half decade, at the very least, being a Microsoft fan hasn't been easy. iPhones, iPads, Androids - The rapid rises of two of Microsofts biggest rivals has been astonishing. All the while Microsoft was struggling to get something out the door that wasn't Office Windows or Xbox to stick, and for the large part unsuccessful.
But it seems like things are changing now, and it's very exciting. Microsoft is bringing the fight to the one thing they're really good and passionate about. Software. WP7 and WIndows 8 are great examples for how a company can produce something beautiful if they play to their strengths. And I'm really happy. For the first time in a very long time I'm actually excited about what Microsoft is going to be offering in the future. But I think what's really hitting home is that it's almost a re-birth of a company.
Anyways, my two cents. Can't wait for Windows 8.
