Windows 8: CP Up and running
I've got it up and running on my PC now (dual booted with Windows 7). Any questions?
After a few minutes, it's pretty fast, some disk activity within the first couple of minutes). But it's really fast and fluid now.
Bing Maps looks like a gem. It's really Google Maps killer for Windows 8 users.
The new gestures are interesting. It's not intuitive for a long time PC user at first, but I've already gotten used to the new charms bar and multitasking menu.
No integration with Windows Phone 7 yet. I'll check to see if the music app does anything with my Windows Phone 7.
The metro IE is pretty good. It seems to work better with The Verge now, which IE9 was just no good at. (maybe it was Flash bogging down IE9?)
