FBI releases background investigation on Steve Jobs from 1991
Back in 1991, during his exile from Apple, Steve Jobs was actually considered for a position on the President George H. W. Bush's export council, an advisory committee on foreign trade. Now, more than 20 years later, the FBI has released the details of a background investigation on Jobs to the public. There's some bonus material thrown in, as well — details of a 1985 bomb threat against Jobs are included. While there's likely not much here we haven't already heard, we're sure others will dig into these documents, so we'll update this post if anything particularly noteworthy is found. Months after his passing, the Steve Jobs myth continues to build.
