I have owned my KOSS Porta Pro's for about 6 months and I love them. They have the smoothest, wide-range sound I've heard from any portable headset. They are sturdy, compact and have great bass. I have not found headset that is not an over-the-ear that reproduces bass so well. They accomplish it without losing anything else.
What has to seal the deal and which not many people realize is the KOSS lifetime warranty. You have to check this out. There are all kinds of examples of where someone owned a headset for 5-10 years and they quit working for whatever reason and KOSS replaces them. You just need to pay shipping.
