Windows 8 driver problems - Tribal meeting
I need some help fellow tribesmen so gather round the fire...
I recently installed Consumer preview on a now 4 year old Toshiba that was bought through a school. It runs as expected except for my resolution having dropped to 1024x768 as opposed the native 1280x800 when i check the screen resolution menu on the desktop I was not given an option to change ( the drop down was greyed out).
*The graphics are provided by an intel chipset should have mentioned earlier but slipped my mind sorry thank you tharrison4815 for reminding me.*
As well as this my touch pad no longer registers the edge scrolling it has in XP and Ubuntu and that would arguably help with well scrolling.
I have a sneaking suspicion that it may just be old hardware but if anyone else who is a bit more 'in the know' than me could answer or direct me to an answer that would be great.
