Does the new iPad display lag?
Last night I went to the Apple Store to check out the new iPad. The screen looked fantastic, especially for text heavy apps like mail or Flipboard. I may be crazy but I could have sworn I saw the slightest lag when swiping between apps on the home screen. It seemed like almost a wavy motion where the top pixels trailed the bottom ones by a millisecond. Has anyone else noticed this? It might just be my eyes or the lighting conditions in the store. I also wonder if performance is an issue after 12 hours of constant use on display. I did't notice it in the Verizon store, so I think it might just be an environmental factor. I still had a hard time walking out of there empty handed and I can feel my willpower weakening as I type this.
