So, lets talk about the Vergecraft Server.

I know it's a bit early, as the official launch isn't until tonight, but there are a few things the server desperately needs.

Foremost in my mind is access to the /mute and /unmute commands. This would be absolutely incredible, as there are a *ton* of people and calming the noise would be great.

Next, a clear and outlined system for building stuff. Right now there's a loose policy which is basically "Don't be a jerk", but something more concrete in the case of disputes would be awesome.

A lot of people have been yelling about an economy; personally I don't like the idea, but if that's what the people want, then go ahead.

A better hierarchy. There needs to be a default class with extremely limited permissions and then several levels going up. This will prevent a lot of up-front griefing and give more power to the players, while allowing the Verge team to not have to constantly babysit the server. PVP was just turned off, but I think that if we got the permissions sorted out then turning it back on might be realistic.

And finally, a place to post suggestions. The Meta forum is nice and all, but a central location for discussion might be better, maybe even a whole new forum.
