'Jurassic Park' 3D re-release slated for July 19, 2013
The 3D re-releases continue. Universal Studios has announced that a 3D version of the 1993 classic Jurassic Park will be released on July 19th, 2013, Variety reports. There aren't any details other than that, but the film will join the likes of the Star Wars 3D re-releases and the upcoming Titanic 3D in squeezing extra cash out of a 2D film. We suspect that many will go see the Jurassic Park in 3D just to see the film back in a theater where it belongs. Also, who can resist seeing a Dilophosaurus take out Wayne Night (Newman from Seinfeld) by spitting in his eyes — in 3D?
