While we managed to play around with the Galaxy Beam back in February, we weren't quite sure when the projector phone would be available. Now we know that the Beam will be launching in April — at least in India. There's no word yet on an exact date, nor do we know when the Beam might be hitting other regions, but a Samsung rep has reportedly told IBN Live that the device will launch in India next month. In addition to its projector — which can display HD content on surfaces up to 50 feet wide — the Beam also features Android 2.3, a 4-inch WVGA display, and a 2,000mAh battery that Samsung hopes will let you use the projector for over three hours on a single charge.
