The Problem with Windows 8's Metro UI is this: It's not Metro.

Now It may seem crazy...but it just seems that they are straying now. There is bloat here, chrome not content, I mean the me app really sucks, it's way faster for me to check my twitter with my phone than Windows 8. it's like they lost the plot. This is not metro. This is a facade. Metro is simplicity above all else. This is like a preschool toy aisle. Even the color choice for background suck. They are poorly chosen and honestly ugly colors. I can't see how anyone would want these colors. When do I get the real metro. White text, black background? Why is it slower? Why is that Remote desktop app so bad and the music app so laggy?

My Venue Pro is testably faster than my sandy bridge desktop when I do the Smoked by Windows Phone challenge. I love my phone. I don't like this. (Good luck using the charms with multi monitors.)
