Fever dream (literally): Headless MacBook Air with iPad 3 as the display
So I'm sick from Mobile World Congress and therefore having fever dreams. I have especially powerful dreams whenever I have a fever, they feel essentially like reality and I have a hard time distinguishing them from reality when I wake up. So for a few minutes this afternoon (yes, I overslept), I thought this was true:
Apple's "One More Thing" would be a "headless" MacBook Air in a new form factor to match the iPad 3's dimensions. It would have a dock connector that would turn the iPad 3 into the MacBook's display and a special key combo to switch between iOS and OS X when the iPad is connected.
I know this is very far from an original idea, but I genuinely thought I'd be able to go buy one for a few minutes today and, well, I really wanted to.
