16-Bit Gems
A friend recently linked me to this video series done by a site called Clan of the Gray Wolf:

As someone who grew up during the 90s, and spent much of my middle school years playing Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, etc, the episodes of the series brings up a very effective mixture of nostalgia. And a good dose of education, as I'd not played several of the games reviewed (notably, after playing the first Lufia, I never got around to Lufia 2).
I hadn't heard of the site before, or of the 16-Bit Gems video series, but I was pretty surprised to not see it get more exposure.
All the episodes are very well done, super informative, and represent the kind of content that I love to see. Content that doesn't cover the contemporary video game industry, but also reaches back and highlights some of the best games from days and systems gone by.
