Yesterday, Virgin Mobile USA customers enjoyed a respite from their mobile network when text messages and data went down — one day later, the company says that the outage has been resolved, and says that it's "sorry for the inconvenience." The carrier recommends that users should remove their battery and restart their device if they're still experiencing issues. There's still no word on what caused the outage, but it could be related to the company's plans to implement data throttling this week for customers who use more than 2.5GB of data in a month — which would be a sad way to wake up from an outage.
The current outage has been resolved. If you are still experiencing issues, try removing your battery and restarting your device.
