Quality of stories has been dropping rapidly
It seems in the last 2 weeks - 1 month the quality of content on The Verge has been dropping at a pretty alarming rate. Nearly every headline seems sensationalist and a gross misrepresentation or misunderstanding of the (usually very short) article.
For example: Broadcom's new GPS chip promises improved indoor tracking, 50 percent more battery life
http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/21/2890127/broadcom-gps-chip-indoor-positioning-bcm4752
For some reason the article lists 50% more battery life (which seems odd) instead of power saved by the engineers of the chip. These are the kind of articles I like reading but they seem rushed and have glaring grammatical issues.
Similarly articles about the new iPad are short and lack more content than is listed on the front page. I could go on but this seems to be a broader trend that others have probably noticed.
