We've seen plenty of action cameras — there's the GoPro Hero2, the Roam, the Freestyle HD, and the WingmanHD, to name a few — but the CamOne Infinity offers something a bit different. The 5-megapixel camera supports 1080p video at 30fps and 720p at 60fps, but what's unique is that it has an interchangeable lens system. The mount isn't sophisticated — it's more like a screw than a camera mount — but the company told Gizmag that it'll soon offer 142 degree and 96 degree lenses to accompany the included 170 degree lens. The Infinity also has a built-in 1.5-inch display, unlike the GoPro, and it has two microSD card slots, HDMI, a motion sensor, and an LED flash.

Like most action video cameras, the Infinity comes with a waterproof casing and lots of mounts so you can strap it to your helmet or hook it onto your bike, but CamOne is offering a few premium accessories as well. Along with an optional external monitor, there's something called the V-Eyes Video Goggles head-mounted display for viewing footage from the camera. We're not sure why you'd ever need these, but there's also a Wi-Fi transmission set for wirelessly viewing video on the goggles or the external monitor if you need it. The most interesting accessory is the LinX, a wireless control unit that lets you aim the camera from afar and watch what it's recording. The accessories aren't priced, but the CamOne Infinity is available now for €250 (about $330).
