Some iPad accessory/Mac questions (Apple TV?)
I'm switching from my MOTO XOOM to an iPad 3 (Apple finally got me) and I'm looking into accessories for the iPad now. I have 200 dollars to spend on accessories and I was wondering what you guys thought of buying an Apple TV for iPad use on TV as a portion of that cash. It would connect the device to a sweet 7.1 system and 46 inch 1080p TV. No one else would likely ever use it for anything else. I was thinking of just a cable for this purpose, but I could see it becoming unwieldy quickly.
I also plan to buy a new pair of MOTO stereo bluetooth headphones and possibly get myself an Apple bluetooth keyboard. (Can I use both of these simultaneously?) I have an Apple USB keyboard that I love, but I'm not sure if I could use USB in conjunction with the iPad... I also need camera support as I'll be without a PC for a while and need my camera, but I've read that iOS 4.2 reduced power output to just 100mA and many cameras have issues with this, as far as I know CF is supported in no other way.
I'm looking into a Mac Mini to replace my aging gaming PC to save some power and space. All I need is Starcraft <3 and I don't want to deal with Windows ever again. Currently using Ubuntu 12.04 and loving it, but I imagine Mac is a much more cohesive experience, although the recent UI changes are a bit unsightly an lacking uniformity.
Will I get by with only an iPad as my only real electronic device? Or will the lack of iTunes be a huge hindrance? I also hate iTunes for PC with a furious passion, is it any better on Mac?
Sorry if that's a lot of questions, I just feel like I'm in the right place to ask these questions.
