Buying advice: iMac + iPad vs MBP
Hey guys,
I'm looking to replace my 2007 2.4 Ghz Macbook Pro. Since I'm in college I'll need a device that will fulfill my portable needs. I've been looking around on the internet and the iPad get's touted around as being a college worthy device for some. What do you guys think is best, an iMac + iPad or a Macbook Pro?
I'm a business student and the stuff I need to be able to do is write notes, write reports/essays, do online literature research and make presentations. That's basically it. Would me doing stuff on the iPad at college and then doing the heavy work on the iMac at home be viable? Or would you guys advice on just replacing my MBP with a newer model.
