US President Barack Obama has been credited with the adept use of the web to achieve his political aims, and he's just absorbed Pinterest into his social media portfolio. Obama's new Pinterest account includes boards like "Obama-inspired recipes," "pet lovers for Obama," and "ObamArt." As with other accounts carrying the Obama brand, it's not run by the president himself, but "Obama for America" — the president's campaign team. It's at least the second high-profile social media add the campaign has made this year, after it joined Instagram back in January.
