AT&T refusing to release 8107 update. We must fight back.
Since AT&T is refusing to deploy the 8107 update which provides vital security updates and bug fixes I suggest we band together and report AT&T to the DOJ and file a class action lawsuit against them. Since they are the "premier" Windows Phone carrier in the U.S. they have a monopoly over Windows Phones.
We could bring a lawsuit against Microsoft because they most likely will settle by giving us a free phoneinstead of having to fight an expensive legal battle.
AT&T I know for a fact will fight because they are appealing the case that a guy successfully sued them and won $850 for them throttling unlimited data.
I cant import pictures to The Verge using skydrive so I will just provide links.
This is my post on the AT&T thread about the 8107 update: https://public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pjLqfC1jXr60K6BUbkdWKoYzQYgWwA-9TcY_W9U58meYfp9BUiMPemxiv7-Gto8lZGS_SCZxpLUkA0G39FNG-kw/AT%26T%20doj%20good.jpg?psid=1
My post is removed because AT&T is scared: https://public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p9Ck6xb7YIJsBiDy1jI-cXZsfIeSap5qim5eqb8XXDAfZpnhtP_ZrFcfXCVEn1W7znHU3QOIM4rh_F1MVjVsueQ/AT%26T%20scared.JPG?psid=1
I am tempted to tweet this on twitter right now:
Together we can take down AT&T and knock some sense into Microsoft. Seriously, what were they thinking by giving carriers complete control of updates??!!
Also, I tipped The Verge a few days ago about AT&T intentionally deleting posts in the 8107 forum to downplay the response to them refusing to provide the 8107 update yet there are no articles yet. Only 5000 articles about the guy who was refused a win at the smoked by windows phone challenge. HE GOT HIS WIN, MOVE ON TO THE NEXT STORY!!! OR DO BOTH!!!
Here is an article about AT&T intentionally deleting forum posts: http://www.wpcentral.com/att-accused-deleting-complaint-posts-their-windows-phone-support-forum
