Twitter acknowledges 'unfollowing' bug, is working on fix
Twitter often has occasional bouts of flakiness, with accounts occasionally dropping followers at random, but the company has finally acknowledged this bug and claims it is working on a fix. TechCrunch reached out to Twitter, who responded by saying "This is a bug, and our team is working to fix it." There's no word on when this fix might come, but users can take comfort in the fact that their fluctuating follower counts are due to a Twitter-acknowledged flaw and not due to your tweets driving users away. Given that this has been a problem for some time now, we're hoping Twitter finally fixes this bug sooner than later.
