HDMI/Video out tablets?
I've been eyeing the soon to be released Acer A510 as well as the Asus Transformer line and I am curious about the HDMI out limitations, if any. A review I saw of the A500 shows you can mirror the display on an HDTV but I am wondering if apps such as Netflix or Flixster(some Ultraviolet movies) would block video output or not. I have a large online catalog of movies that I would sometimes like to watch with friends when I visit and don't want to lug my laptop around. I'm assuming there would be no problem playing Amazon on Demand since it would just be through the browser but the apps above, I'm not so sure.
Has anybody done this on any tablet? Reviews typically leave this out and I'm having a hard time find the info online so why not ask a load of tech aficionados.
Note: I should also add I want to stay away from any tablets that require some adapter or proprietary multimedia stand. I just want a mini or full HDMI port out that can do the above.
