iPod Nano --- Changing it's focus?
After reading the review on the Sony Smartwatch, my interest peaked and something dangerous happened: I began to think.
Why doesn't Apple create the next product consumers did not realize they needed rather than making a smaller iPod touch? Much like the iPad, the creation of "Smart watches" could very well change how many people use their iPhones and electronics in general.
The niche of an iPod Nano, in my opinion, is a very small, portable, affordable alternative to an iPod touch. I say if you want a music player to take with you for working out, you might as well use your iPod touch with the armband. I believe that if Apple could effectively change the focus of the iPod Nano from a "mini iPod touch" and market it as a "revolutionary smart watch" (iWatch)((in before "big brother is iWatching you")), they could create a new market that truly changes how people receive information on the go.
This is just my 2 cents. I would geek out so hard if I could have a true smartwatch compatible with my iPhone. To be honest, I believe Apple would be the most effective at making "Smart Watches" a true market.
