We've been following the extended legal duel between Apple and Samsung — one of many battlegrounds in Apple's war against Android — and a new story from Bloomberg Businessweek pulls back the curtain a little further on the players in the conflict. Bloomberg gives a bit of human color to the story, which so far has been dominated by endless legal filings, barbs from corporate lawyers, and repeated requests for injunctions, despite the fact that the companies share a relationship worth nearly $8 billion. As the story indicates, even Judge Lucy Koh found herself bemused by the absurdity of the case, asking both sides at one point "can we all just get along here? Can I send you out to [private mediation]? I will send you with boxes of chocolates... I mean, whatever." Be sure to check out the full story if you'd like to get caught up on a legal saga that's far from over.
