Mac with broken DVD drive. How can I get Windows 8 on my machine?
I am unsure whether or not I should have posted this in the Microsoft Tribe.
Here's the deal. I am a mac user who currently runs OSX 10.7 and W7 professional via bootcamp.
My super(sic)drive is broken. I want Windows 8 consumer preview but do not know how to install it. I ran into similar issues trying to install the latest ubuntu.
tl;dr: Is it possible to install Windows 8 consumer preview on a macbook pro with no working DVD drive? If yes. Please help me figure out how.
