Kindle touch, still a good buy at $204?

I would love to buy a Kindle touch, unfortunately it is unavailable here in India.

Amazon ships Kindle touch to India, but only the $139 version.

The International shipping charges are approximately $40 which makes it upto $179

The customs, duties and octroi add another $25 to the price making it $204!

Local dealers and Ebay have it available for about $140 but there are two problems,

1) It is the sponsored version.

2) There is no warranty.

I don't know anyone in the US who could send it to me.

Kindle fire is available for a similar price, but I want an e-reader and not a tablet.

So my questions are

1) Is there any other way to get the 'official' product cheaper.

2) Is Kindle touch worth the $200 price?
