Should The Verge do a battery life comparison for Win8?
I was thinking it would be interesting to see what a laptop or tablet running Windows 8 in all Metro (Desktop never opened) vs Windows 8 in Desktop vs Windows 7.
Comparing the battery life while:
Windows 8 - Browsing in IE10 Metro
Windows 8 - Browsing in IE10 Desktop
Windows 7 - Browsing in IE9
Microsoft has stated that they are working hard on improving battery life for Windows 8 and IE10 Metro so this would put it to the test.
