Windows (8) To Go
Anyone else played with the new Windows to Go feature?
I followed the instructions here with the only change that I used a single partition on a USB 2.0 flash drive (16GB). Everything worked perfectly, and I was able to boot into Windows via the USB drive. The only problem is that it was miserably slow. It took something like 5 minutes to boot off of the USB drive I was using. I have a different 32GB one that's a little faster that I'm probably going to try it on, but with the speed I was getting, I can see why they removed the setup tool from the Consumer Preview. It seems almost like you'll really need USB 3.0 for things to work best.
