Samsung Series 7 Slate

Hi All,

I would like to know if there's anyone in the community here who have used (for an extended time) the Slate 7 from Samsung and maybe tried coupled with Windows 8 CP (but this isn't a top requirement).

I'm in the market for a new laptop for mobile business use and considering to jump in the tablet world, mainly because I want a serious digitizer for notes and a good portability. Price isn't (too much) a problem.

First of all, I want a PC experience. No suggestion to buy an iPad or an Android tablet.. I have already tried various.. I'm actually using an Asus Transformer (TF101) with keyboard dock and while I have to say I'm really satisfied with it, what I want now is a Windows tablet. That can be used as a laptop with docks and keyboards, too.

I have to say I really like the Slate 7. I hate tried one in a shop and I'm really considering to buy one in the coming days.

What I would like to know from existing users is:

How good is with OneNote? My first use will be meeting notes, using frequent combination of text (handwritten and recognized) and graphs/diagrams

Can I get at least 4 hours out of it while mainly using Office Applications?

Is the WiDi working flawlessly?

How good or bad is it running Autocad applications (2D only, no need for 3D)?

Photoshop and Lightroom.. can you work on them in a good way?
