Is Samsung Missing Out By Delaying GSIII Announcement?

With All major phones such as HTC One Series, Nokia Lumia 900, Sony XS and basically all phones announced in MWC bar Huawei are nearing release, Samsung is yet to announce the S3.

I can understand part of the reason behind this, as they are trying to create buzz and make the announcement/release date as close to iPhone 5's as possible because everyone who bought the iphone 4 or the 4S are approaching upgrade time or will be out of contract and they want to be still relevant when that happens, but at the same time, they are going to miss out on a lot of android / WP / new to smartphone customers.

I've gone through the Sony xperia S and the G Nexus and will probably go for the HTC One X or the S but is the SIII was announced, i would wait for that.

What's your take on this? willing to wait? dont care about Samsung? or dont want to wait any longer?
