Nick Gentry's floppy disk portraits: 'social art from the obsolete'
Nick Gentry is an artist from the UK who creates what he calls "social art from the obsolete" — namely, oil portraits that use old recycled floppy disks as a canvas. He's been doing this for a while, but there are some new works up on his Facebook page and you can check out some more via the video montage below. It'll make you look differently at that growing pile of unused physical media in your closet.
