Better alternative to Copernic Desktop Search in particular for music on Windows?

I'm looking for an alternative desktop search app that focuses well on mp3s. I've spent a lot of time ripping my CD collection which numbers in the thousands over the last 20 years and meticulously tagging and organising everything.

I've been using Copernic Desktop Search (CDS) for years and it has been for the most part pretty good. It scans through my external drive dedicated to my music and quickly builds up an index. Problem is that I have many many folders and sub folders and occasionally I have noticed complete folders it has not indexed when it should have. My other problem is that from time to time when it does a scan and my external drive is offline, it wipes off everything from the database presuming those files no longer exist when infact they actually do - its just that the drive is offline. So every few weeks I need to re-index the drive but at 2TB, it currently takes about 10 hours to do.

The thing that I love about CDS is it lists the music nicely with the relevant ID3 tag info and a simple double click has the file playing in a split second in Winamp - which is just what I want.

So in replacing CDS, I am looking for a desktop search that has good options/choices for mp3 in particular. I'm not really fussed about any other files on my system. Just a tool that will index and do so on the fly and display the stuff neatly and allow me to double click on any entry and have that file launch in my default music player. Any suggestions welcome, thanks =)
