Tim Cook may be relatively new as Apple CEO, but he's presided over some stunning milestones since last August, and now he'll be making his first speaking appearance at a non-Apple event — Cook will kick off All Things D's D10 conference on May 29th. Steve Jobs had made a number of appearances at All Things D's conferences, and they often saw Jobs at his most candid, so we're hoping that Cook similarly opens up. He certainly has a lot of things to discuss, from the performance of the new iPad to the ongoing labor situation at Foxconn in China... it wouldn't surprise us if the long-rumored Apple TV came up once or twice, as well. At the very least, it will hopefully present a different side of Cook than we've seen at Apple's press events so far.
