Wolfram Alpha can now analyze Shakespeare's plays and other famous works
Wolfram Alpha has announced that its computational knowledge engine can now analyze literary works like Othello, Macbeth, Moby Dick, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The system can provide responses to queries for information like the most frequent words in a work, number of words and sentences, number of unique word stems, and others. Wolfram Alpha has also organized the dialog from each character into a timeline that to allows users to see where they appear in a story. And while the service added a paid "Pro" option to its service earlier this year, the new analysis feature won't require a fee: it's available on Wolfram Alpha's site now, which is just in time for those of you with a paper on A Midsummer Night's Dream due tomorrow.
