Will iOS 6 be a continuos client for the mac?

If this has been posted before please feel free to let this sink to the depths of the forum where it will never be spoken of again.

In thinking about the new Messages app for the Mac, I started thinking about how great it would be if gchat conversations could accurately sync across Apple devices (Google's Google talk app is not surprisingly great at this). Now considering how iChat has just been folded into Messages, it seems like a perfectly reasonable expectation that the next iOS iteration will fold chat protocols into the app. It could get messy with how it's supposed to work, which may be part of the very public beta of Messages for the mac. To see if people can understand how to start different conversations with people and if they can all be in the same window.

Also, looking at something like iTunes (I doubt many people will get use out of this, but who knows) I can imagine integrating iTunes Match to let you continue listening to an album as you leave home and come back, etc, just by pausing it on your computer and continuing to listen to it as you head out the door.

These are just some random thoughts, but I'm interested to see if anyone else thinks Apple is heading this way for both Mountain Lion and iOS 6.
