Is Font Smoothing in Windows 8 Gonna Suck?
Is Font Smoothing in Windows 8 Gonna Suck as much as it does in the Consumer Preview?
I don't understand because Fonts are smoothed so beautifully in Windows Phone. However, in Windows 8 they look just as awful as in Windows 7 and Windows Vista and Windows XP.
I'm super excited for Windows 8, but I can't use it in its current state. The fonts in Internet Explorer and everywhere else are simply awful. If I install Safari and force Safari to use Mac font smoothing everything looks right again... but only in Safari and not in Metro. On Windows Phone they look like they do in Safari, so I know Microsoft has the technology.
Will it be coming to Windows 8?
