Gaikai app lets you play 'Saints Row,' 'Witcher 2,' and more in Facebook
Gaikai has launched a new app that lets you play games a little more complex than Words With Friends without having to leave Facebook. Similar to OnLive, the new Gaikai app lets you play demos of games by streaming them to your browser (a feature already available on Gaikai's primary site and with others that use the service like Best Buy and Walmart). Right now it's available in America and Europe, and with version 1.0 there's only a small selection of titles to choose from, including Saints Row: The Third, The Witcher 2, Orcs Must Die!, and (for the FarmVille crowd) Farming Simulator 2011. The demos are available for free, and the app provides the option to buy the full version from services like Steam. You can check out the app — which works with most major browsers and operating systems — right here.
