Who, or what, is a Tango?
Let's slow down on the talk of Windows Phone Apollo for a second. Does anyone know anything about Windows Phone Tango?
There are two Tango releases: Tango 1 and Tango 2.
Tango 1 was the release that brought us 256MB support and greater localization; most notably China.
Tango 2... no one seems to know anything about this. This is the release that will be coming to current gen Windows Phones. This also seems to be the release that AT&T is waiting for... but what is it? I don't think we even have a build number to look forward to.
Here's what Wikipedia says:
- Better media messaging. Now you can attach multiple pictures and videos-along with voice notes and ringtones-to text messages. You can include a video, picture, voice note, or ringtone in an instant message, too.
- Location awareness icon. When an app is accessing the phone's current location information, an icon will appear next to the battery status indicator.
- Export and manage contacts to SIM card. Previously, Windows Phones only allows importing of contacts from a SIM card.Neat... but kind of boring. This can't be everything or it would have been released by now, right?

What do you think Microsoft Tribe, am I missing something or is there not a lot of information out there? Let's see what we can find and speculate a little.
