A letter to Verizon

I am so livid with Verizon about this charge, that I couldn't sit back and not try something. So I wrote this email and just wanted to post it somewhere cause it makes me so mad. (sorry for any bad spelling). Was just curious to see if anyone else wrote in also or feel free to take it and send it yourself, the more we yell maybe they will change.

"I am completely outraged by the new policy to charge me $30 to upgrade any one of the 4 lines I have with Verizon. I have been a customer for 5+ years, I had no intention of going anywhere else, I ALREADY pay a PREMIUM price to be on Verizons network, I understand that in order to have a mobile network as expansive and thurough as this companies is, it costs a lot of money, so thats why i pay double what i would pay on metro or tmobile. I also notice that Verizon has been creeping up the cost of the devices, charging $299 for the RAZR MAXX and Galaxy Nexus, when the flagship phones only cost $199 years past. Again, I understand that building out a nation wide 4G network (one that still hasnt gotten to my very populated area yet, despite being told it would be here 6 months ago) costs a lot of money, but thats why I already pay a lot of money! In addition to paying more fore my devices! This is probably gonna cause me to not just not upgrade my lines, but I can just wait, and kill the line once the contract is up, start a new line and get the phones i want for a fraction of your on contract price threw Amazon and skip this tax on your customer. And again according to your own quarterly earning (http://news.verizonwireless.com/news/2012/01/pr2012-01-24.html) your wireless revenue was up 13% for the end of 2011! Is Verizon so desperate to screw me, to make that a 15% rather then to keep my business. I have payed this premium for sometime, but this could be the final straw, I know every other carrier does it. But every other carrier does not already charge me what you do.

In short, I understand Verizon is a massive company, but please try to only screw me one way, screw me on the plan, srew me on the cost of the phone, hell do both! But dont rub it in with this BS ( and we all know thats what it is, 12 60+ year old men sat in a board room and decided this will boost profits) charge on my loyalty. Cause that is exactly what it is, a charge to keep giving you my money."
