Chrome for Android Sucks?

Hey guys,

I know loads of you love CFA, and I'm sure it's brilliant on the GNex or other high powered devices, but the problem I'm having with it is on my Nexus S: it simply struggles.

Ok, I know the Nexus S is 'old' hardware, but frankly, it's awful: I'm used to going on full websites like the full version of wikipedia, but if I'm using Chrome, the phone can barely display the page.

Now, of course, I can pick what browser I want to use, but it just strikes me as a massive shame that the 'official' browser, with absolutely awesome features like the Other Devices pane and the syncing and UI gets let down by poor performance, when the stock browser doesn't have this issue. I don't know much about programming, admittedly, but it seems like lazy development work to me.

What do you guys think?
