The Huawei Ascend G300 is out, can anybody recommend it?
It's my little brother's birthday coming up at the end of the month. I already got him gig tickets as a present but he lost last year's present, an HTC Desire, a few months ago. Since then he's been using my old HTC Hero running CyanogenMod 7 to bring the software up to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Ascend came out in the UK for £100 on Vodafone PAYG. I've seen some unboxing videos but no solid reviews of the device yet - has anyone had enough of a play with it to give a solid opinion on the device? If feedback is positive then I'll have a word with the folks to chip in and get him a better phone than the Hero he has now.
