Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are one of the headlining acts at this year's Coachella music festival, but there's a good chance their performance will be upstaged by two stars who are no longer with us. Both TMZ and KROQ radio are reporting that Tupac and Nate Dogg — who passed away in 1996 and 2011, respectively — will be resurrected on stage as holograms so that Dre and Snoop can perform classics like "California Love" and "The Next Episode" without missing a beat.
The performance will reportedly use the same hologram technology that allowed Mariah Carey to perform a Christmas concert in five European cities at the same time. And while the Coachella show has the potential to be more than a little creepy, we also have to wonder if there will be any legal issues with using the likeness of a deceased celebrity. If you can't be there in person to check out the concert, don't forget: YouTube will be livestreaming the entire three-day festival free of charge.
