In Brick, writer-director Rian Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt teamed up to create a stylized neo-noir world of high school, murder, and betrayal. In the pair's most recent collaboration, Looper, Gordon-Levitt plays a modern-day hitman who specializes in taking out individuals sent back in time from the organized crime syndicates of the future.
