Should I get a Lumia 900?

I am the type of person you would expect to have 4 smartphones but I don't have one. I have 2 desktops, 2 iPods, 2 laptops, a Kindle, and an iPad. The commute between my home and school is quite short so I read on my Kindle. At home and at home I use laptops and desktops so I am connected to the Internet and I communicate through Google Talk, Skype, and Facebook chat. I have a prepaid phone from target so I pay about $50 a year for phone service. I recently started using Google Calendar for productivity and loved the way it worked with the Windows 8 calendar and again when I tried it on a Lumia 800 at the Microsoft store. I love the hardware of the Lumia 900 and wondered if I should get it. My iPods are dying so I thought maybe I could use the Lumia as a Music Player, Calendar, and basic phone. Is the Lumia 900 worth it or would I be better of with an iPod Touch. I can afford both and prefer the way the Lumia 900 works but do you think it is worth the price?

TL:DR version: Lumia 900 or iPod Touch for basic tasks esp. Calendar, Music Player.
