Verizon has made the 8107 update for the HTC Trophy available, after we got word earlier this month that it would be "coming soon." The upgrade provides a variety of performance improvements and bug fixes, including a nasty-sounding one which would cause the virtual keyboard to disappear when typing. Plugging your Windows Phone device into the Zune Desktop should make an update notification pop up, after which you should be good to go ahead with the upgrade. It's been a while coming, but at least Verizon's deigned to give its only Windows Phone the upgrade at all — AT&T customers haven't been so lucky.
